The teacher will be able to teach A-Level curriculum.
-To formulate and carry out lesson plans and course syllabus
-To develop and update teaching materials, improve teaching skills and students academic performance
-To give students a solid foundation in Subject field to build on through the rest of their education and prepare students for the A-level examinations.
2. Classroom Management
-The teacher will ensure that the students are safe at the class times.
-The teacher will establish a productive learning environment.
The teacher will submit course syllabus to the department head by set due dates. The syllabus should meet the requirements set by the school.
Requirements
- Native English speaker (from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa)
- Bachelors Degree or above, majoring in English Literature, Education and relevant fields preferred
- At least 2 years related teaching experience, focusing on CIE is preferred
- Passionate for teaching and good with teenagers

Requirements
Education, training and qualifications • Appropriate degree, with PGCE or other teaching qualifications giving QTS, national teaching permits from native English speaking countries, majored in Education preferred • Working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England including KS3, IGCSE/GCSE and A Levels as appropriate • Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development • Native English speaker ONLY Knowledge and experience • Minimum two years’ teaching experience, relevant upper school English teaching experience preferred • Be aware and up to date in all relevant safeguarding polices and practice • Knowledge and experience of how to use of ICT effectively in promoting student learning • Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities • Previous experience or knowledge of working with students for whom English is not their first language Personal qualities • Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background • Passionate about teaching and a strong commitment to holistic education • The ability to inspire students through a genuine passion for learning and a desire to lead them towards outstanding academic outcomes • A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life • Highly motivated, ambitious and collaborative • Demonstrate empathy, humility and genuinely care about children, taking the time to listen and motivate them Other • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check (for applicants who have never worked in UK) and no question regarding suitability to work with children
