The Global Derivative Solutions team seeks to provide comprehensive coverage alongside our global team in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore which all partner closely on a day-to-day basis in a coordinated way.
In this position, you will be responsible for creating and updating marketing materials, driving efficiencies in sales management, and providing trade analytics along with providing coverage for our suite of derivative solutions products in the Global Private Bank. You (VP) will serve as a primary point of contact for our internal partners and stakeholders. The team is primarily based in Mumbai and interacts with all global counterparts.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be able to gain a comprehensive understanding of underlying platforms, systems and tools with the ability to think strategically and deliver business results for their respective product domains by:
- Driving internal and external communications to deliver transparent and impactful content (e.g., strategy launches, announcements, commentaries, etc.)
- Creating highly leveraged advisor and client resources.
- Contributing and participating in efforts to enhance the Advisor / Client experience and strategic business initiatives.
- Develop market knowledge in Equities, FX, Commodities and Fixed Income derivative solutions in the full product range, including derivatives and structured products.
- Manage various risk controls impacting the desk (XVA, Credit risk etc.) and follow risk & compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide education and create marketing materials (including pitch books) for sales force and clients.
- Assist the marketing effort of trade ideas and contribute to internal marketing forums (creating slides and content for the daily morning meeting)
- Monitor and communicate business metrics to management on a periodic basis.
- Identify business strategies to support growth and platform enhancements and maintain detailed metrics and identify key trends to proactively develop resources for the sales force.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- MBA/CFA or an equivalent professional degree with 11- 13+ years of experience with extensive knowledge and experience in the Derivatives and Global markets
- Experienced people manager adept at working in matrix organization and managing dynamic high performing teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented approach, project management skills would be useful.
- Hands on multi-tasker, self-directed, capable of working independently and as part of the team.
- Excellent stakeholder engagements skills, strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of client management
- Ability to execute within a fast-paced and demanding environment, while managing multiple concurrent deliverables/tasks
- Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
