R01120843 Senior Developer – Data Engineering (Mainframe) – Bangalore (Open)Senior Developer – Data Engineering – Mainframe (Bangalore)Senior Data Engineer to build, support and enhance Mainframe and other ETL jobs that integrate with digital data core with extensive experience in Mainframe scripting languages and Mainframe tools.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and supports

Mainframe jobs and their integration into Data warehouses. Reviews business requirements and functional design and develops technical design. Understands the functionality of various business processes and data flows.

Participates actively in local and global teams. JobRequirements:Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering or Technology from an accrediteduniversity or equivalent with the background in Mathematics or Statistics8+ years of extensive experience in Mainframe scripting including JCL and COBOL, and DB2 z/OS databases.8+ years of experience in Mainframe tools like Endeavor, CA-7 etc. Experience in Mainframe modernization and expert performance tuning

Experience in Relational Databases and concepts

Extensive experience in advanced SQL scripting and developing ETL jobs, and resolving complex Mainframe incidents

Certification in Mainframe or DB2 is a plus

Experience in other ETL platforms or Python or automation is preferred

Detail oriented,self-directed and have strong independent problem-solving, analytical, and multi-tasking skills with English fluency

Have a strong background and interest in technology

Must Have:8 to 12 years of overall experience.8+ years of relevant experience in Mainframe Scripting JCL, Cobol, DB28+ years of Experience in Mainframe tools like Endeavor, CA-7.Experience in modernization and performance tuning.Experience in advanced SQL scripting

Individual Contributor, teamwork plus mentoring/teaching the teammates.Shift General / EMEAGood to Have:Developing ETL tools i.e., informatica, TeradataCertification in Mainframe or DB2It is preferable if the candidates are from a domain other than Finance.
