The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

As a Full stack Developer, you will be responsible to development of applications, and coordinate with surrounding systems for interface connectivity by following banks standards. 

  • See changes through to completion – coding, configuration, testing documentation, change review board
  • Good understanding of SQL / procedures
  • Working with Operations users and BAs to translate requirements to solutions
  • Engaging and collaborating with a wide group of technology teams from upstream TP systems, integration, modelling team, data base administrators, messaging teams, architecture
  • Support testing.

Strategy

  • Flexibility to deliver in both Agile and Waterfall methodology
  • Experience working in a banking I.T. team preferred
  • Java Development: Core Java, Multithreading, Collections, JMS, Mybatis, Hibernate and Spring
  • Very good experience in Apache Camel
  • Java Web Technologies: JSF, JSP, JSON / XML (XSLT, XSD, XQuery)
  • Frontend Technologies: React JS
  • Application Server: JBOSS server, Tomcat
  • Database: Oracle architecture, SQL
  • Middleware: IBM MQ, AMQP, Queue and Topic
  • Operating System: Linux (with shell scripting), Windows
  • Repository: GIT
  • Build tool: Maven
  • Deployment: Jenkins and Docker
  • Experience working in a banking I.T. team preferred

Business

  • Identifying technology and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Devise and implement rigorous testing processes, identifying opportunities for automation.

Processes

  • Confidence to face off to business users and other stakeholders
  • Experience working in at least one full SDLC.

  • Handling Project Risks.

Our Ideal Cabdidate

  • M.C.A / M.SC. / B.E
  • At least 6 years development experience using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA and ORM Frameworks.

Role Specific Technical Competencies
