At the EleFant, the Head of Sales will be pivotal in charting the company’s growth trajectory. With a dual responsibility of targeting our users (parents) and potential librarians, this role demands a visionary who can merge two distinct strategies into a harmonious growth plan.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales Blueprint: Develop and refine a comprehensive sales roadmap that encapsulates the distinct needs of parents and librarians while finding avenues for synergistic growth.
2. Team Development & Leadership: Build robust sales teams for each segment, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and equipped with the tools and knowledge needed for optimal performance. Regularly conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
3. Engagement & Networking: Initiate and foster partnerships with educational institutions, parent-teacher associations, independent librarians, and other key stakeholders. Attend and organize industry events, workshops, and seminars.
4. Data Insights: Regularly review CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and feedback mechanisms to derive actionable insights. Use this data to fine-tune strategies and predict market movements.
5. Cross-departmental Collaboration: Interface with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service to ensure the sales strategies align with brand messaging, product capabilities, and post-sales support.
6. Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for events, campaigns, team training, and other sales-related activities.
7. Campaign Design: Spearhead the creation of unique, tailored sales campaigns. Ensure they resonate with the target audience, be it parents seeking quality toys for their children or librarians aiming to expand their offerings.
8. Feedback Loop: Establish mechanisms to gather feedback from both the sales teams and customers. Use this feedback to make iterative improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably in industries targeting diverse customer bases.
Exceptional leadership skills and experience in building and mentoring sales teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Adept at balancing the needs and challenges of both B2B and B2C sales environments.
