Role Overview:

As a Career Counselor at Educate U, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals toward fulfilling and successful careers. You’ll work closely with candidates, offering personalized counseling, advice, and support to help them make informed decisions regarding their career paths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with candidates to assess their skills, interests, and career aspirations.
• Provide expert advice on various career options, educational opportunities, and training programs offered by the organization.
• Assist candidates in setting and achieving their career goals.
• Offer guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and job market dynamics.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and candidate progress.
• Collaborate with the placement team to help candidates secure job placements.
• Organize and conduct workshops and seminars on career development-related topics.
• Participate in outreach and recruitment events to attract potential candidates.
• Contribute to the development of career development resources and materials.
• Offer support and guidance to candidates throughout their journey with Educate U.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of counseling services.
• Content creation for Social Media

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in career counseling, human resources, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of career development, job market trends, and industry-specific requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic and supportive, with the ability to connect with candidates from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in using career assessment tools and resources.
• Commitment to helping individuals achieve their career goals.
