As we continue to grow and open new preschools in various parts of India, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Principal to lead one of our preschools.

Position Overview:

As the Principal at Wheaton Kids Preschool, you will be responsible for providing visionary leadership to create a stimulating and nurturing educational environment for young learners. You will oversee all aspects of preschool operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-quality educational experience for students, staff, and parents, including transportation coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Educational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and educational leadership to create a positive learning culture and ensure academic excellence.

2. Team Management: Supervise and support teaching and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.

3. Curriculum Development: Oversee the development and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with Wheaton Kids’ educational philosophy.

4. Parent and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and the local community, ensuring open communication and involvement in the school’s activities.

5. Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and secure environment for students and staff, adhering to all regulatory and safety standards, including transportation safety protocols.

6. Transportation Coordination: Manage and oversee transportation services for students, ensuring safe and reliable transportation to and from the preschool.

7. Budget Management: Manage the school’s budget effectively, including transportation-related expenses, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation.

8. Student Development: Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective intervention strategies as needed.

9. Professional Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among staff members.

Qualifications:

– Master’s degree in Education or a related field.

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in preschool or early childhood education.

– Strong understanding of early childhood development and education best practices.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Proven leadership and team management abilities.

– Knowledge of local and national education regulations.

– Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

– Experience with transportation coordination and safety protocols is a plus.
