Job Description:

Note: Candidates will be trained on SAP HANA, having knowledge on SAP HANA is an added advantage. (Not Mandate)

Role Description:

· Specialists will be expected to perform upgrades and expansion of existing appliances, new deployments, and deliver proactive services to existing installed base, worldwide, using remote support tools and methodologies.

· Candidates are expected to be proficient in change management best practices and must demonstrate strong hands-on experience in Linux administration, Upgrades, and installations. In addition, they should demonstrate coordination skills to direct the work of onsite resources as required.

· The role does not require travel.

Technical Skills:

· Strong Knowledge in installation, configuration, troubleshooting and administration of all flavours of Linux (RHEL, SUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu & Oracle Linux).

· OS/patch/security update/management.

· Strong understanding of OS Cluster Services (Service Guard, PCS Cluster, SUSE Native Cluster)

· SAP HANA installation & upgradation.

· HPE Service guard for SAP Extension (SGeSAP)

· Good knowledge on SAN technologies and converged solutions with Linux hosts.

· Good knowledge on HPE Servers.

· Disaster Recovery planning and conducting DR drills.

· Knowledge on Patch deployment solutions – RedHat Satellite, SUSE RMT/SMT.

· Experience in virtualization technologies like VMware, RHV

· Certifications on Linux & VMware will be added advantage.

Primary Skills:

· Linux (Strong in basics of Linux).

· Good understanding of Clusters.

· VMware knowledge.
