Sr. Account Planning Strategist: 3-4 years

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Research & Analysis + Focus on Data & Insights

You will work closely with the Account Planning Lead and seniors and will be responsible for understanding the brief from the Brand Solutions team to prepare the objectives for conducting primary and secondary research.

Conducting primary research by identifying relevant target consumers based on the brief and having telephonic or in-person interviews and immersions with them to identify customer need gaps that your brand can solve for.

Preparing effective surveys to collect data on consumer preferences, understanding trends and analyzing user behaviour.

Conducting secondary research by effectively using tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, Keyword Everywhere, SEO Minion, vidIQ and other relevant platforms along with research papers, reports from credible websites etc. to assess and identify category opportunities, audience behaviour, and cultural trends in the category to help arrive at consumer insights.

Effective tracking and presenting your findings, observations, and trends to your reporting managers.

Active participation in ideation and brainstorming along with your reporting managers, brand solutions teams, creative teams and other units at Schbang for retainer, pitches and projects to communicate and ensure that the consumer insight remains at the core of each stage of the brief.

  • Client & Creative Obsession

Assist your reporting managers in reducing client escalations that may arise due to client dissatisfaction

Identify competitor campaigns/ ideas in the same category, monitor their progress and report back to the teams to help in the creative ideation process

Interacting with the stakeholders across Schbang to develop innovative communication strategies in line with the brand’s overall objectives.

Utilizing your strategic, critical thinking and researching skills to monitor user behaviour for your brands and competition on online and offline platforms and aid the process of building consumer insight & category and cultural truth.

  • Reporting & Tracking

Preparing, maintaining and regularly updating trackers to monitor your campaigns for retainers, projects and pitches assigned to you

Tracking if research has turned into an idea monitor successful campaigns delivered along with references and links to the final output.

  • Self-Development

Working closely with your reporting manager to identify training needs for your self-development
