Soul AI is a New York headquartered startup with an IIT-IIM founding team that is just emerging from stealth mode. We have launched operations across the US and India, and are focused on fine-tuning and improving next-generation Large Language Models (LLMs).

About the job:

We’re seeking part-time Earth Sciences subject matter experts to engage in fine-tuning activities / technical conversations with our advanced AI models. This is a project-based role that offers flexible hours, with an anticipated commitment of 2-3 hours daily. It’s a remote role (you need a PC of your own). It can be structured either as a part-time role, or an internship (if you are a student). What you will be doing:

• Help train state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Act as domain experts in facilitating the fine-tuning of AI models, via techniques like Prompt Engineering and Reinforced Learning
• Review/Generate technical content

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelors, Masters, PhD, or equivalent proficiency in Earth Sciences or related field
• Industry practitioners / Tutors / Teachers etc. are also welcome 
• Deep proficiency in your core area of study, and passion for the topic (prior proficiency in AI is not needed)
• Minimum CGPA/equivalent of 7 out of 10 in your field. We may selectively consider candidates with lower CGPAs
• Excellent attention to detail. Consistency in writing well and spotting errors 
• Excellent written communication skills in English

Pay and other details

• The rate will range from ~Rs. 800 to Rs. 1000 per hour (if you work an average of 3 hours every day – that could be as high as Rs 90K per month)
• Those who deliver high-quality work will earn even more over time
• Eligible students will receive an internship certificate
