Job title: Academic Quality Project Officer Directorate: Director of Academic Quality Location: Remote (to be based in India) Reports to: Academic Quality Project Manager Responsible for : Project Assistance Salary range: INR 500,000 – 11,00,000 per annum Overall purpose The postholder will support the day-to-day co-ordination of all academic projects related to learning, teaching and assessment, in line with RCL vision, policies, and strategic priorities. Reporting to the Academic Quality Project Manager, the postholder will support in the successful planning, implementation, continuous improvement and impact of all relevant services, projects, or products, ensuring that these are delivered to remit, quality, and deadline.

General managerial duties and responsibilities: Support the day-to-day coordination of academic projects related to learning, teaching and assessment (e.g. content related projects, teaching observations, assessments, module performance reports etc.), including monitoring project milestones. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as well as project collaborators to ensure projects run to schedule (eg internal and external academics, HR, Finance etc.). Ensure projects are delivered on time, set targets are met and outcomes are of a high quality.

Identify issues, risks and lessons learned in the project plan and support decision making by developing options for possible solutions. Provide regular and ad-hoc information, both written and verbal, to project stakeholders. Work with academic leads and HR to recruit, onboard, monitor and quality assure content creators.

Undertake other such duties that may be required from time to time by the Director of Academic Quality. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Co-ordinate end to end processes for academic content creation and review, including maintaining a tracking system. Manage the copy-editing, proofing, consistent design, and migration of content to the relevant platforms.

Provide high level support for institution-wide projects, for example, our Degree Awarding Powers application. Higher Education TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint). Experienced in using IT software i.e., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, databases Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Ability to use and present numerical information clearly and accurately EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Essential: An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification or work experience.
