• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Cooperate with other members of the staff in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
• Assist in the selection of books, equipment, and other instructional materials.
• Assess the progress of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
• Present a positive role model for students that support the mission of the school district.
• Teach assigned course(s) by delivering appropriate course content to students, preparing course materials and lesson plans, and addressing students questions and/or concerns.
• Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of the resources provided by the district.
• Attend faculty meetings and serves on staff committees as required.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
• Use appropriate technologies to strengthen and enhance the teaching and learning process.
• Consistently monitor student achievement through formative and summative assessments.
