Job Description:As a Math Tutor at Inkstall Educare, you will play a crucial role in helping students improve their math skills and build a strong foundation in mathematics. You will work closely with students of different age groups, tailoring your teaching methods to meet their individual needs and learning styles. This is a full-time position located in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one or small group math tutoring sessions for students.

Assess students’ current math abilities and develop personalized learning plans.

Provide clear explanations and demonstrations of mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques.

Assign and review homework assignments to reinforce learning objectives.

Monitor students’ progress and adjust teaching methods as needed to ensure improvement.

Create a positive and engaging learning environment to motivate students.

Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide progress updates and address concerns.

Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and teaching techniques to continuously improve your tutoring skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

Proven experience as a math tutor or math teacher.

Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts across various grade levels.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.

A passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically.

Dedication to punctuality and maintaining a consistent tutoring schedule.

Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Previous experience with standardized test preparation (SAT, ACT, GRE, etc.) is a plus.

Knowledge of the local educational system and curriculum is advantageous.
