The Student Support Admission Officer/Academic counsellor is responsible for counselling, enrolling, onboarding and offering overall delightful journey to the students.
Role and Responsibilities
Typical Job Duties Include
The primary responsibility of the counsellor is to guide and advise prospective students in making informed decisions about the UG & PG courses offered by the institution.
- Counselling prospective students and guiding them about the different UG & PG courses offered.
- Advising students on specific degree programs and admission procedures.
- Collecting feedback from participants and consolidating the same.
- Handling queries over the telephone.
- Converting leads into admissions.
- Recording and maintaining telephonic and walk-in records for the day.
Candidate Qualifications
To be considered for the position of Counsellor, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the courses offered and willingness to work as per the requirements.
- Comfortable working flexible hours.
- Well-versed with the background of the management industry.
- Thorough knowledge of institutions and programs offered.
- Maintaining a professional work environment.
- Capable of shouldering a variety of responsibilities.
- Full of energy, multi-tasking abilities, and result-oriented nature with a proactive approach.
- Candidates should be only from institute(s) /University(s) which deal in UG & PG courses.
- Experience from Education industry would be preferred.
- Desired candidate should have similar work experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
