Green Initiatives
MESSAGE (Make each school student aware of Green Environment) is an Environment Education campaign initiated by IYFS with a motto to create awareness among Primary school students about Plastic Pollution and Marine Littering and to make them understand the importance of protecting our environment by eliminating single-use Plastic usage, following proper waste management methods, and switching to eco-friendly alternatives through various forms of Art.
The main objective is to engage Primary school children in profound skills such as Art & Painting, Activity-based learning modules, Storytelling, and Gardening through Environment Education, thereby contributing towards the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy of the children.
Qualifications
- Teaching qualification (D.Ed./B.Ed./or equivalent)
- At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in primary classes would be desirable but optional.
Skills and Attributes:

Additional Information
It is on-site job and field work is a part of the role. Driving licence and scooty or bike
As a Resource Person, your key responsibilities are to
- Facilitate the development of Primary school children with diverse backgrounds, interests, and abilities through participative classroom processes through our module.
- Encourage active discovery and independent learning among the children.
- Participate in and build school processes.
- Ability to maintain rapport with the teachers and other stakeholders of the school.
- Willingness to travel between schools and teach classes thrice a week.
