Qualification and Experience: First Class MSc (Nursing) in Community Health Nursing with teaching experience of more than 8 years in a reputed Nursing College.
Responsibilities: As an Associate Professor in Community Health Nursing with an MSc qualification in Nursing, your role and responsibilities will include a wide range of academic, research, and community engagement activities. Some of the key roles and responsibilities associated with this position are:
Teaching and Curriculum Development: Delivering lectures and conducting interactive classes on community health nursing topics to undergraduate and graduate students.
Designing and updating course materials and curricula to align with the latest developments in nursing and community health.
Supervising students in clinical placements and providing guidance for their research projects and dissertations.
Research and Scholarship: Engaging in research activities related to community health nursing and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
Conducting independent research projects or collaborating with other faculty members and researchers.
Publishing research findings in reputable nursing and health journals, books, or conference proceedings.
Mentoring and Advising: Providing academic and career guidance to students, including mentoring graduate students during their research pursuits.
Serving as a faculty advisor to students, offering support and assistance with their academic and personal needs.
Community and Public Health Engagement: Collaborating with community organizations, public health agencies, and other stakeholders to address health needs and promote community well-being.
Participating in community health initiatives, health promotion programs, and health education workshops.
Service and Administration: Participating in departmental and university committees to contribute to the development and improvement of academic programs and policies.
Assisting with accreditation and quality assurance processes related to nursing education.
Professional Development: Engaging in continuous professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on the latest nursing practices and research.
Clinical Practice: Depending on the university’s policies and your interests, you may continue to practice as a nurse in community health settings to maintain your clinical expertise and provide valuable insights to students.
Collaboration and Networking: Collaborating with colleagues within the nursing department and across other departments to foster interdisciplinary research and projects.
Establishing professional networks within the nursing and healthcare community to enhance research collaborations and opportunities.

Salary: ₹45,000.00 – ₹55,000.00 per month
