Head Mistress (Primary School)
We are searching for a well-organized, qualified and committed candidate to join our excellent faculty as Headmistress (Primary School) for the Academic Year 2023-2024. She will be in charge of the Foundational Stage (Nursery to Grade II) & Preparatory School (Grade-III to V), its management and services.
She should be able to use innovative techniques to make learning fun and engaging for the students and mentor teachers in implementing innovative strategies of teaching and learning.
Skill Requirements:
Proven experience as a Headmistress/ Centre Head with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the foundational stage of a K-10 school setting preferably in an inclusive setup.
Graduate or Post – Graduate with a training in Early Years.
Possesses an in-depth knowledge of an integrated approach to teaching at the Primary Stage.
Key Responsibility Areas:
She should have experience in conducting training sessions and mentoring teachers of the foundational stage on modern teaching methodologies with a global perspective.
Should have sound knowledge of the needs of the learners at this stage and guide teachers in the implementation of the syllabus.
Should be able to address any curriculum issues / guidance required in any specific area.
Will be responsible for preparing the class time table and arrange for substitutions for Teachers/ Classes from Nursery to Grade 5.
Should possess the ability to mentor teachers on making the school spaces – centres of learning for the students.
Possesses the ability to assist the Principal in the successful execution of all school events.
Possesses knowledge on the assessment pattern and evaluation thereof at the Foundational Years & Preparatory Stage
Possesses knowledge on the recruitment process and actively participate in giving constructive feedback of the candidates assessed to the Principal and the Board.
Possesses an innate interest to involve in continuous professional development to be abreast with the latest developments in the field.
A team player who works in collaboration with the Management, Principal and Teachers in implementing the best practices at the foundational stage.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
