Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Professor in the MCA Department at City Engineering College, Bengaluru. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, designing and evaluating assessments, guiding student projects, engaging in research activities, and contributing to curriculum development. The Assistant Professor will also mentor students, participate in academic events, and collaborate with colleagues for continuous improvement in teaching methods and departmental objectives.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of core subjects related to Computer Applications, including Programming, Database Management, Software Engineering, and Algorithms.
- Strong teaching and research skills with the ability to prepare and deliver engaging lectures and guide student projects effectively.
- Proficiency in using modern teaching tools, technology platforms, and relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship abilities to support student academic and professional growth.
- Master’s degree (MCA/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field) from a recognized university. Ph.D. holders or candidates with NET qualification will be preferred.
- Past teaching experience in a higher education setting is desirable. Research publications in relevant fields are an added advantage.
