Physical Education Teacher – Salunkhe Vihar and Viman Nagar Campus. Location: The Rosary School Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Physical Education Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will promote physical fitness, healthy living, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students, while creating an engaging, inclusive and safe learning environment. Key Responsibilities -Plan, design, and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and student needs. -Instruct students in a variety of physical activities, sports, and fitness exercises. -Organize and oversee intra-school and inter-school sports events, competitions, and activities. -Foster a culture of discipline, teamwork, resilience and fair play. -Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during PE lessons and sporting activities. -Maintain sports equipment, facilities and ensure their proper usage. -Support talent identification and provide training to students with strong athletic potential. -Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate wellness, nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices into school life. -Provide regular updates and feedback to parents on student progress in physical education. Qualifications & Experience -Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent. -Master’s degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) preferred. -Prior teaching/coaching experience in a school or sports academy setting. -Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness regimes and physical training techniques. -Certification in first aid (preferred). Skills & Attributes -Passion for sports, fitness and student development. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Strong organizational and leadership abilities. -Ability to motivate and engage students of varying skill levels. -Commitment to student safety and well-being.
