• Handle day-to-day laboratory’s daily operations and perform water and air

quality control.

• He /She should also prepare chemical solutions.
• He/ She should investigate on the quality of air and water as well as

hazardous wastes.

• Need to manage inventory and laboratory equipment and chemicals and

direct the calibration and maintenance of equipment.

• He/ She should also review documentations and prepare compliance reports.
• Should have thorough knowledge of CPCB guidelines and should carry out

all procedures as per their guidelines.

• He/ She should carry out improved Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs)

and test standards to enhance the quality of boiler and feed water as well as

that of air.

• He/ She should analyse the impact of emergency responses and safety

procedures on business operations.

• He/ She should support the Emergency Response team on site incident

management.

• He/ She needs to handle the laboratory apparatus and power plant

equipment.

• He/ She should have good communication, people management and

problem solving skills in leading the water and air quality control team.

• He/ She should have proper hazardous waste management skills.
