Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our school’s faculty. The Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to secondary students, fostering their understanding and appreciation of chemistry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, effective communication skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in chemistry to secondary students, adhering to the curriculum guidelines.

2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student participation.

3. Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to effectively convey complex concepts in chemistry.

4. Provide clear explanations and demonstrations of scientific principles, experiments, and laboratory procedures.

5. Develop and implement assessment methods, including tests, quizzes, and assignments, to evaluate students’ understanding and progress.

6. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and performance in chemistry.

7. Establish and maintain a well-organized and safe laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

8. Foster a curiosity and passion for chemistry among students through interactive discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

9. Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate relevant and contemporary examples into the curriculum.

10. Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to support interdisciplinary learning experiences and school-wide events.

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree in Chemistry (MSc Chemistry) with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) qualification.

2. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience teaching chemistry to the secondary section.

3. Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts, theories, and laboratory practices.

4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts to students.

5. Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and engage students in the subject of chemistry.

6. Familiarity with using technology and educational software for instructional purposes.

7. Strong organizational and time management skills.

8. Ability to establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

9. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

10. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Job Type: Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹31,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
