We are seeking a talented and experienced Science Teacher to join our school in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in science and prior experience teaching science subjects at the secondary level, preferably in an international curriculum or CISCE syllabus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans for science classes, aligned with the international curriculum or CISCE syllabus.
• Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and hands-on exploration.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and laboratory experiments to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts.
• Effectively communicate complex scientific ideas and theories, ensuring students grasp key principles through demonstrations, experiments, and discussions.
• Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, practical assessments, and projects, and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Identify individual learning needs and provide additional support or enrichment activities to help students achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects.
• Stay updated with the latest scientific research and educational trends, and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies and technology into the classroom.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science.
• B.Ed degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably with experience in an international curriculum or CISCE syllabus.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of science concepts, curriculum frameworks, and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate students.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Proficiency in using technology tools and resources for teaching science.
• Flexibility and willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school’s overall educational program.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
