Design Consultant / Behavioral Designer

Mumbai (preferable), open to any Fractal locations in India

Job Description

Your purpose, as a Design specialist within the Dimension team, is to apply Human Centered Design in strategic ways and in collaboration with a cross-functional team, to help Fortune 500 organizations tackle their most complex challenges.

These challenges may be found within business strategy to corporate strategy, consumer strategy, innovation, and futureproofing.

You will be expected to take ownership of running programs across all key activities mentioned above and as a team member creating a new way of problem solving at Fractal, proving its efficacy, and taking it to market successfully.

Role Details

• Experience/desire to work across clients, functions, practices, and problem statements (sometimes at the same time!)
• Excited to learn and work at the cross-section of behavioral design, emerging technology, and consulting
• Desire to be hands-on and knee-deep across every phase of the project (not only research/design-led phases)
• Ability to lead research, translate findings into actionable insights and develop rapid prototypes for a variety of problem types
• Fluency with design tools (ex. mural, figma, etc), ability and desire to experiment with methods, tools, platforms that are new and emerging

Skills

Must-Have:

• Mastery in applying human-centered design and/or behavioral science
• Human Centered Innovation
• Ability to conduct superlative Primary Design Research & Secondary Research
• Trends & Market Analysis & Business Strategy Design
• Excellent orchestration (communication, client management, nudging for right information, identifying pain-points, managing escalations) in client workshops, client meetings, insights presentations
• Facilitate co-creation within cross-functional teams and with Client’s CXO teams
• Deliver high-quality outputs with best-in-class frameworks with clear communication
• Strategic thinking, Designing Solution Architecture and Frameworks with AI, Engineering and Domain depth based on strategy
• Desire to work in a cross-functional team and contribute to cross-functional methodology, prototypes, products and solutions
• Desire to lead design and behavioral science workstreams for complex problems
• Desire and ability to work across practices/industries/clients
• Desire and ability to develop literacy for AI, Engineering and Domain expertise

Good-to-have Skills

• Base understanding of AI/Machine Learning & Data engineering concepts and apply them to solve problems (undergo continuous training to learn & update)
• Work with the larger Fractal Client-facing Sales & account team on Go to market strategy for Dimension Labs, Perspectives & identification of opportunities
• Ability and interest in generating thought leadership content for publishing to the press

Section 4 (Education Qualification and Certifications required, If any)

Design Research, Strategy, Innovation, Applied Behavioral Science backgrounds.
