Units that will report and is referred as HealthCare Sciences:
1. School of Medical Sciences & Research
2. School of Nursing Sciences & Research
3. School of Allied Health Sciences
4. School of Dental Sciences
Role & Responsibilities :
Role :
– Establish and own a road map for the Healthcare Sciences within the University.
– Establish cross functional research involving STEAM, Bio and Medical Sciences.
– Identify and secure extramural funding towards Research.
– Establish International & National collaborations in different disciplines.
– Establish annual budget including the revenue goals for Healthcare Sciences wing of the University and Hospital independently with the Leadership and ensure compliance to the approved budget annually.
– Establish a road map and ensure that University and different schools/hospital achieves and maintains appropriate National and International Accreditations such as NAAC, NABH, JCI etc.
– Assist the VC in achieving academic and performance excellence.
– Introduce innovation in curriculum design and teaching pedagogy.
– Create, establish and sustain a conducive culture for student excellence, patient care and faculty attraction.
– Identify and nurture pipeline of leaders for future needs.
Responsibilities :
– Integrate Healthcare schools with the Hospital and achieve # 1 position in NCR in the next five years and as one of the comprehensive healthcare facilities in India.
– Carve out Healthcare facilities for elite patients and ensure attainment of ‘Go to’ hospital for such patients.
– Guide establishment of Five/Ten year plans for individual Departments towards achieving Excellence in the chosen field.
– Implement adaptation of contemporary technology such as Robotics, AI or ML etc.
– Attract the best talent/professionals and build Centre of Competency in five disciplines in five years.
– Establish performance parameters for the Consultants/Doctors/Departments and ensure appropriate ROIs in each area but not less than net 15% to the organization.
– Guide the teams in establishing the Best Practices, processes and ensure compliance.
– Nurture the culture of ‘Patient Care’ and aim to achieve the best in the industry parameters.
