Job Description
Role: Soft Skills / Behavioural Trainer
Designation : Executive/ Sr. Executive Learning & Development
Base Location : CHENNAI
Travel : UPON REQUIREMENT
Total Experience : MINIMUM 02-08 YEARS PREFERABLY IN FREIGHT FORWARDING INDUSTRY
Reporting to : HEAD- L&D
Key Role requirements:
- Develop, implement and coordinate training programs for new hires and existing employees
- Design training manuals, presentations, and other learning materials for various training programs. Such as Behavioural, soft skills, Induction and any other trainings on need basis.
- Conduct training sessions no for employees to improve their knowledge and skills, ensuring that they are in line with the company’s goals and objectives.
- The training program should place a strong emphasis on behavioral aspects while also covering a wide range of job-related competencies, rather than being limited solely to behavioral training.
- The ideal candidate should demonstrate a willingness to expand their expertise in other areas of training delivery, such as product and process training.
- Having exposure in Freight Forwarding Training will be an added advantage.
- Maintain accurate records of employee training, attendance, and performance.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, changes, and new developments to ensure that training materials are current and relevant.
- Sharing reports to Key stakeholders within stipulated timelines.
- Deliver training to the new hires and customers globally (Whenever asked).
- Conducting Pre and Post Training assessments
- This will be accompanied by the other day-to-day duties/ responsibilities as and when required by the management.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective training programs will be advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs, sheets, slides.
- Strong time management skills as well as be an effective multi-tasker.
- Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time-constrained environment
- Ensure all tasks/reports are being shared as per the deadline.

- Get trained on companys process and product and to train new joiners within 3 months of joining
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or in Logistics
- Having an external Training certification would be beneficial
- Experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, technical training: virtual and classroom training will be preferred
- Strong knowledge of industry practices, procedures, and regulations.
