The Lead Academic Operations (LAO) will manage and oversee the execution of all facets of operations needed for the delivery of academic programs and curriculum across all 46 Billabong High Franchisee school campuses. Roles and Responsibilities:Work effectively with cross-functional teams especially the curriculum team for appropriate responses, follow-ups and coordination internally within organizations and externally with schools.
Lead all the yearly planning and coordination that pertain to academic operational matters and ensure school-wise communication and dissemination of appropriate actions and recommendations after appropriate consultation with the teams internally and HOD. Play a pivotal role in both the development of the school’s academic operational plan and in monitoring its implementation. Monitor curriculum offerings throughout the year and partner closely with all schools to address and resolve curricular operational issues.
Identify areas where operations could be improved or enhanced through technology, organizational, and/or process change and submit the appropriate recommendations to HOD. Prepares/compiles school-wise and network-wide reports on the implementation status of academic operations with suggestions for overcoming problems and challenges. Develop relations with school owners, and principals and foster effective collaboration between faculty, staff, and appropriate school services to ensure an integrated approach to the implementation of the school’s academic goals and objectives.
Tracks the progress of the teachers with a system of Classroom observation feedback and a teacher training and development model. Desired Candidate Profile:A Female Post Graduated in a relevant discipline from an accredited university is required Minimum 8 to 10 years of related work experience, with at least 4 to 5 years spent in a supervisory/leadership role. Should be able to assist with educational support to our ICSE, and IGCSE boards.
At least 3 years of relevant teaching/training experience at a tertiary level A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology. Current knowledge of industry practices, trends, and issuesWilling to travel to pan India a week in every month. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential Graduate with 4-6 years of experience in franchise managementOverseas work experience within a multicultural environment would be advantageous Highly developed organizational, communication, and presentation skills Superior interpersonal skills, and the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization.
