What We’ll Bring:
As a valued member of the Information Systems Operations team, you will support the re-architecture of legacy systems into scalable cloud-based services within our AWS environment. The role will emphasize security and reliability at the direction of the Principal Engineer.

Responsibilities
Design and deploy secure, resilient, and scalable Infrastructure as Code while adhering to Information Security requirements and best practices.
Identify and implement efficient AWS-native solutions which demonstrate measurable cost savings relative to legacy server management.
Research and adopt the latest technologies to enhance end-user experience of the platform, and identify manual processes which can be transformed into automated tasks at scale.
Work collaboratively with the rest of the information systems operations team, cloud operations, network operations, and application teams to provide support to internal and external stakeholders.
Be a mentor and teacher to fellow engineers on the team and within the organization.
Maintain confidentiality and professional integrity while accessing sensitive data.
Document all technical information and team activities via internal systems.
Impact You’ll Make:
What You’ll Bring
Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of experience with traditional system administration, including 4 years of certified experience with AWS administration (Lambda functions, ECS, EC2, ELB, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route53, S3, CloudWatch).
You should also have experience with cloud engineering, containerization and deployment, the ability to work with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell), and Infrastructure as Code tools including CloudFormation and Terraform.
Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to convey complex ideas to any audience.
