• Recognize by the gym ownership for utilizing a CPR certification and managing an on scene emergency.
• Manage and own yoga studio providing yoga classes, wellness education and lifestyle balance workshops
• Lead adult fitness classes involving yoga & Pilates classes.
• Educate the community in the philosophy and practice of yoga as well as the physical practice of Asana.
• Develop marketing campaigns to promote a healthy lifestyle and participation in yoga programs.
• Maintain CPR and a certifications.
• Plan classes, choose appropriate music, and choose different modifications for each Asana depending on participants’ capabilities and limitations.
• Administer emergency first aid, wrapped injuries, treat minor chronic disabilities, or refer injured persons to physicians as needed.
• Incorporate compassion and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Provide seminars and one-on-one instruction on anatomy/physiology and yoga therapeutics.
• Monitor swimming facility operations, teach weekly water aerobics class.
• Participate in continuing education relate to Pilates and teaching group fitness.
• Provide private yoga instruction for individuals, focusing on request areas of wellness
• Communicate all facility initiatives and promotions to customers to generate return business.
• Develop professional bearing and identity in an emerging profession of yoga instruction and yoga therapy.
