We are looking for a Play School Teacher to join our International Pre-School team. The Play School Teacher will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children aged 1.5 – 3 years. The ideal candidate should have Montessori training, which will be an added advantage, and an ability to teach phonics. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for children aged 1.5 – 3 years.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Use a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate children’s learning styles and abilities.
• Teach phonics and early literacy skills to children.
• Promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of attendance, student progress, and other administrative duties.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure that curriculum goals are being met.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Montessori training is an added advantage.
• Ability to teach phonics and early literacy skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, student information systems).
