Job Title: Flute Instructor

Job Overview: Ipley Music Company is seeking a passionate and experienced Flute Instructor to join our team. The Flute Instructor will be responsible for teaching flute lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, as well as helping to develop and implement our flute curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flute performance and education, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach individual and group flute lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
• Develop and implement flute curriculum, including lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Work with the team to ensure students have access to quality instruments and materials.
• Communicate with parents and students about progress, performance opportunities, and other important information.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in music education or related field.
• Extensive experience as a flute performer and educator.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching a variety of age groups, from young children to adults.
• Experience developing and implementing music curriculum.
• Ability to play and teach multiple instruments.
• Familiarity with music education software and technology.
