Position: Admission Counsellor
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Admission Counsellor to join our admissions team at Parul University. The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for providing information and guidance to prospective students and their families about the university’s admissions process, academic programs, financial aid, and other related topics. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a strong commitment to student success.
Responsibilities:
Respond to inquiries from prospective students and their families via telephone, email, or chat messaging, providing information about the university’s admissions policies, application requirements, academic programs, and student life.
Provide guidance and support to prospective students and their families throughout the admissions process, including assisting with application completion, providing advice on essay writing and other application components, and offering assistance with financial aid applications and other related paperwork.
Manage a caseload of prospective students and monitor their progress through the admissions process, ensuring timely completion of all necessary steps and providing ongoing support and follow-up as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospective students, including tracking their progress through the admissions process and updating their contact information as necessary.
Collaborate with other members of the admissions team to develop and implement outreach and recruitment strategies to attract and retain a diverse and talented pool of prospective students.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with emerging trends, research, and best practices in admissions counseling and student recruitment.
Ensure compliance with ethical and legal guidelines, including upholding student confidentiality and adhering to professional standards of practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience in admissions counseling, sales, or customer service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to student success and diversity
Knowledge of higher education trends and issues preferred
Familiarity with admissions software and customer relationship management tools preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 11 months
Salary: ₹10,000.00 – ₹15,000.00 per month
