Ansrsource is hiring Freelance Subject Matter Experts from Organic Chemistry background for a short-term project.

Duration: 3 – 4 months

The ideal freelancer must have Masters (PhD preferred) degree in Chemistry and should be able to work for 8 hours a day between Mon-Friday. Do not apply if you are already doing a full-time job.

Scope of Work:

Job Profile:

• Manual testing of Chemistry questions and functions for K-12 Chemistry Syllabus US. Candidate will perform manual testing of UI, standards, functions, indentations, and look and feel of questions designed by our programmers. Testing involves only front-end testing based on Chemistry concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform conceptual testing of Chemistry content on a client-specific platform
• Provide test results and defect reports, and participate in the analysis of defects pertaining to release quality and prioritization
• Track status of defects, and verify resolution during the testing life cycle
• Perform accessibility testing using a screen reader to make sure the product is ADA compliant

Education and Qualification:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Chemistry
• Having Organic as the main course is an add on

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in teaching or tutoring
• Experience with QA-testing and defect-tracking tools
• Ability to go beyond specifications and anticipate problem areas in the product design, document test case results, and compare with expected results
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changes in priorities and new situations as they arise
• Excellent time-management skill
