Qualifications:
Bed/Masters in Kannada(Curriculum development experience) compulsory

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience(in a progressive school environment) and/or curriculum development & training
Prefer experience of working with children from non-Kannada speaking, multilingual

General Description

We are seeking for a Curriculum Specialist who has a solid understanding of language education(Kannada), lesson plan development, implementation monitoring and teacher training.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop manuals that will contain detailed lesson plans/ assessments/ resources for innovative and child centric Kannada for classes 1 to 7.
• Assess and discuss curriculum standards.
• Research trends in instructional methods and educational technology.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual assessments.
• Analyse student test data
• Train teachers for the respective classes on implementation of the lesson plans
• Observe classes and give feedback to the teachers
• Write, review and recommend instructional material.

• Maintain confidentiality of both children and staff
• Communicate directly
• Be flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of the overall program

• Be approachable and welcoming

Additional Skills

• Ability to train and evaluate teaching staff
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in standard English.

• Ability to interact with families in a nurturing, compassionate, and sincere manner
• Intermediate to advanced level experience with recent versions of Microsoft

Suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer; ability to use current webinar technology and audio conferencing.

• Has excellent writing skills and able to create content that meets the educational standards.
• Experience in curriculum development is a must.
• Is creative with good analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Regular / Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: ₹346,101.95 – ₹800,000.00 per year
