• Candidates must have a minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a reputed university/ journalism and mass communication college.
• Candidates must have prior experience in research work at the university as well as national level institutions, including experience in directing and guiding students for research at the doctoral level.

Roles and Responsibility

• Selected Professor should give tutoring and academic counselling to students at par with other institutions.
• Selected Professors should assist their colleagues in various research activities and course materials.
• Selected Professor should have excellent teaching skills along with innovative teaching methodologies.
• Selected Professor should give proper mentoring to students and should be able to clarify all their doubts.
• Selected Professor should Lead projects for funding in areas of R&D work, laboratory development, etc.,
• Selected Professor should help mobilisation of resources for the Institution.
• Selected Professor should Design and execute good extension programmes and establish Industrial Connectivity for the benefit of enrolled students.

Associate Professor for School of Journalism and Mass Communication

• Candidates must have a good academic record with a PhD. Degree.
• Candidates must have a master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale of the UGC in the LL.M. Degree from a respected Indian university or foreign University.
• Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience of teaching or research in an academic position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a university, college or accredited research institution excluding the period of PhD. Degree research with evidence of quality published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books or research or policy papers.
• Candidates must have contributed to educational innovation.
• Candidates must have designed a new curriculum, courses and technology-mediated teaching-learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students.

Assistant Professor for School of Journalism and Mass Communication

• Candidates must have an academic record with a minimum of 55% marks in the LL.M. Degree from an Indian University or foreign university.
• Candidates must have 1 year of experience in the field of teaching/research at a renowned university/college level.
• Candidates must have cleared the NET, commonly known as the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), which is a competitive exam organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to select appropriate aspirants for the post of a law professor.
• Candidates who have been granted a PhD. Degrees are exempted from the prerequisite of the minimum qualification state of NET.
