ADVERTISEMENT OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (VRITIKA)

Applications are invited for short-term (8 weeks) research internship/training under the SERB Accelerated Vigyan

Programme – VRITIKA entitled “Identification and characterization of defence-related proteins in Triticum aestivum

L.” with the following terms and conditions:

Objective: This internship will impart the skills and basics in fundamental Bioinformatics and related Molecular

Biology tools and methodologies.

Position Available: – Five

Duration: Eight weeks (20 December 2022 to 18 Feb 2022).

Eligibility: Master students enrolled in Life Science/ Botany/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or equivalent discipline

from any University/ Institution/ College and having a strong orientation towards scientific research may apply.

Mode of selection: Online Interview

Fees: There is no fee for this internship.

Stipend: No scholarship/stipend is given.

Course Material and Lab Access will be made available during the internship.

Note: The applicant should produce a bonafide letter from the Head of the Department indicating the current

association with the Institute/University/College and No Objection Certificate allowing the student to under go

internship before joining the program.
