Librarian is in charge of collecting, organizing, and issuing library resources books.

Minimum Requirement and Qualifications

Student centered professional in higher education with the ability and experience to interact and support a diverse student body in a positive, friendly, and welcoming manner.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Flexible and comfortable with adapting to change
4+ years’ work experience in job development and marketing required, as well as previous work experience building employer relations in a higher education setting. W employer needs and best practices in career services. Experience with electronic career management systems required. Familiar with social media platforms. Computer proficiency required. Excellent presentation, networking and communication skills. Collaborative and team oriented working style.
Ability to work independently and under pressure, with high level of attention to detail. Candidate must exercise good judgment and flexibility. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with staff, faculty, students, employers, and alumni in small and large group settings. Excellent command of English (verbal and written).

Possess excellent interpersonal and administrative skills, as well as strong skills in written and oral expression.
Proactive with the ability to work independently
Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to draft documents and correspondence
Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse complex numerical data
Methodical, detail oriented and flexible approach to work, maintaining a high level of accuracy
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to work on new systems
Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders in a professional and assured manner
