Job Description:
We are looking for young and vibrant teachers, with well versed subject knowledge and should have a professional approach and still be compatible with the children. Candidates should assist and encourage the student in their learning processes and key concepts. Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning. Plan and implement educational activities and events.
Tutor Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with all students in the virtual classes and offline classes using positive interpersonal skills.
- Highly skilled at implementing exemplary educational practices resulting in demonstrated student achievement gains.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, manage and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes.
Subject knowledge
- Candidates must possess mastery over subject matter content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge and curricular knowledge.
- Organize structure and sequencing of concepts.
Technical skills
- Candidates must know to operate google drive( Docs, sheets, slides and forms).

- Able to use zoom and Google meet.

Performance Responsibilities:
- Design the Virtual Instruction Program so that it is consistent with the total educational philosophy of the district.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the Virtual Instruction Program’s curriculum, schedule, philosophy, goals, and objectives reflecting school, District and state goals.
- Continue professional growth through self-directed, as well as defined professional development opportunities, which may include additional training, professional learning communities, outside research, and reading professional literature.
- Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner.
- Maintains effective and efficient record keeping procedures.
- Use formative and summative assessments in order to differentiate and improve instructional practices and strategies.
- Evaluate student performance on a regular basis and provide feedback to students and parents.
Responsibilities and duties :
- Prepare and deliver lessons to classes of different ages and abilities.
- Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils’ progress and development.
- Research new topic areas, maintain up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials.
- Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment, including podcasts and interactive whiteboards.
- Prepare pupils for qualifications and external examinations.
- Manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior.
- Undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of form tutor, and supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulty.
- Communicate with parents and carers over pupils’ progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings and whole-training events.
- Liaise with other professionals, such as learning mentors, careers advisers, educational psychologists and education welfare officers.
- Organize and participate in other activities, such as outings, social activities and any other events.
