Full Job Description
· To ensure the admission process is carried out systematically and efficiently.
· To ensure the payable reports are generated and monitored for outstanding cash/corporate & insurance payments.
· To monitor efficiency of the insurance desk and ensure Pre-auth, Interim approval and final approval from TPA is received on time.
· To answer questions and to provide information directly to the person or on the telephone.
· To co-ordinate admissions, room bookings and billing of all patients.
· To prepare and maintain data of admissions, transfers and discharges.
· To handle and escalate customer complaints related to hospital regulations concerning Insurance process and discharge formalities.
· To ensure the discharge and settlement process is managed within the given time lines.
· To prepare the roster and effective utilization of manpower by following good leave management system.
· To mentor new joinees and carry out competency assessment for the GRE staff in the billing and Insurance Dept.
· To manage the feedback systematically.
· To conduct meetings regularly and review the work and required innovative changes approved by Center Head will be executed accordingly.
· To motivate team members for the smooth functioning of the department.
· To communicate with team members regarding any grievances faced by them and ensure that redressal of the same takes place.
· Attending regular meetings conducted by Center Head and ensure that policies and procedures are carried out accordingly.
· Attending to the assignments given as & when designated by the management.
· Conducting facility rounds, overseeing cleaning and maintenance.
· Coordinating with engineering and HR department on day to day basis.
· Ensure that consumables are indented and stored on a day to day basis for smooth functioning.
