NGN is now expanding with a mission to produce, curate, and trade unique K-8 digital content for learners. We are looking for experienced and fast learner online tutors for the same.

Responsibilities

• Learn and deliver Logic & Math lessons on K through 6th grade via NGN’s proprietary Learning App platform
• Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students’ understanding and application of mathematical concepts with real-world application
• Preparing, presenting, and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes
• Ensure controversy-free teaching of NGN courses on Logic, SEL, Math
• Grading assignments and quizzes on an online platform
• Documenting and reporting on students’ progress
• Attending meetings with parents and staff
• Flexible Shifts Available for 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours
• After 5 AM
• After 3 PM

Requirements

• Must be proficient in English
• Thorough understanding & application of mathematical/ Logic/ SEL concepts along with effective teaching practices especially for young kids
• Fast learner of NGN philosophy and unique curriculum, content, and teaching methods
• Create a stimulating learning environment that is equally sensitive to students’ psychological needs
• Expertise with online software and hardware to pencast
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Smart, go-getter team player with a strong problem-solving attitude
• Graduate with engineering or relevant background
• Proven track record as Pre-K to 8 tutor
• Available for working US hours
• Ability to manage remote communications and project management through Google classroom/ MS Teams, Slack, Zoom, Trello, etc

Bonus

• Past experience in working as an Instructional Designer
• Past experience teaching US/ UK kids is a bonus
• Proficiency in writing scripts/storyboards with Microsoft/Google software
• Instructional Designer skills with the ability to create curriculum and lesson plans in math and English in a creative & fun way
• Experience developing interactive videos
