ROLE – Content Writer (
While we make learning fun for kids, we have as much fun creating these learning experiences. We’re looking for a content writer with SEO experience to help create and optimize kickass educational content for our blog.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing a network of freelance content writers – from briefing them to giving feedback.
- Working with the SEO team and the team of writers to create content that appeals to different sets of audiences (kids, teachers and parents).
- Reviewing and optimizing content submitted by freelance writers based on the given keywords and guidelines.
- Proofreading the content before submitting it for publication.
- Making changes to the content based on feedback by the content and SEO team.
- Collaborating with the rest of the content team to come up with fresh and creative ideas.
- Staying abreast of education trends and SEO best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Up to 2 years of experience as a content writer (please share your past work or writing samples).
- Should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong editing skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a fearless and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of the American education system and pop-culture would be a major plus.
