About Company:
Furtados School of Music (FSM) was founded in July 2011, with a vision to make
quality music education accessible to children and individuals, young and old, making the entire learning process fun-filled, joyous and memorable. In a short period, FSM has grown in the number of centers and schools offering its programs and instruments taught, and the faculty to capably support it. Job Title: Music Educator

Job Description:

Type of engagement: Full time/Part-time/Freelance (Online and Offline classes
available)

Responsibilities:

• Teach individual and/or groups of all ages

• Ensure lesson planning and delivery as per curriculum

• Send daily reports and updates on classes as per guidelines
• Prepare pupils for performances and examinations
• Assessment and Review for students
• Support students in their use of music learning technology

Qualifications:

• Competence in Western violin
• Trained /accredited by the recognized board for Western Classical Music

(Trinity College of London/ABRSM/LCM or any other )*

• Working knowledge of the theory of music & ability to read music(preferable)
• Passion for teaching

*Note: A degree/diploma in the field is desirable but not mandatory

• High standards of professionalism and professional ethics
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new methods of teaching
