Background:
Starting in June 2020, 21K School is an online-only School with personalised, affordable and flexible education for K-12 students globally. It is a category creator in the formal K-12 space of Education, offering high-quality schooling to students irrespective of their location and time zone.
Our goal is to make quality education accessible, affordable and flexible for all students irrespective of their location or socio-economic background. We are a 100% online school and presently offer three curricula for our students – Indian, American and British. Presently, we have 3000 students from 400 cities, 35 countries representing 17 nationalities. We intend to grow to 30,000 students by the start of the next academic year.
Level/Grade
We are expanding our Team and are looking for passionate Online Home Room Teachers / Facilitators (Indian and International Curriculum) in K-12 Space to be a part of the path-breaking journey.
- Nursery & Kindergarten
- Primary School Grades 1-5
- Middle School Grades 6-8
- Senior School Grades 9-12
For subjects English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS, Social Studies, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Computers / Coding, Arts, Dance, Yoga, Special Education Instructors, Indian Regional Languages and Foreign Languages.

Minimum Qualification
Graduation from a reputed university with B.Ed and/or teacher training program. CTET will be an added advantage. Certification from CAIE or IBO will be required for international programs.
Nature of Experience
Credible experience of teaching in an Indian / international school of repute in India or abroad, or
Proficiency in teaching international curriculum like IB, Cambridge, American Curriculum & Edxcel
No of years of experience
Minimum 2 years of experience of teaching with International Schools as Home Room Teacher
Primary Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the online teacher are to:
- Understand the vision and purpose of the School and align with the school’s academic culture.
- Develop and prepare content, including presentations for daily classes
- Research, Understand and Prepare Lesson Plans
- Conduct Online Classes as per timetable, including any substitutions assigned for the day maintaining the standards of teaching and student engagement
- Effectively use different learning resources and platforms provided by the School aligned with learning objectives.
- Plan, prepare and execute continuous informal and formal assessments of students
- Report on the progress of the child through assessments and anecdotal records as per School’s Standards.
- Identify students special education needs and collaborate with School Counselling Team
- Collaborate with other teachers and coordinators virtually
- Attend training and professional development programs as and when planned
- Proactively respond to parent’s communications and concerns on the Learning Portal
- Prepare and conduct Parent Meetings
- Actively plan, participate, and train students for various activities and events of the school including Summer School Programme
- Ensure compliance and adherence to School’s policies including child safety and cyber security
- Any other responsibilities assigned from time to time
Essential Requirements
- Willing to work full-time from 9 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 to 5.30 pm, six days a week
- Must have good laptop /desktop with HD web camera and microphone
- Hi-speed Internet (Broadband or Fiber Connection is must)
- Willingness to work from Home with focus and dedication
