Profile – Educator

Subjects – Math/ Science and English

Location – Lucknow and Noida

Objective: To teach children in the slums of Lucknow according to their educational needs and to provide them an environment of love, care, and comfort.

Responsibilities

Teaching children according to the lesson plans provided by Sarthak Foundation.

Ensuring a happy and safe environment in the classes.

Building a bond with the children and community.

Ensuring a good attendance level of children.

Maintaining a high score on class discipline.

Conducting and evaluating tests for children.

Assessing, recording and reporting the development and progress of children.

Ensuring safe custody and maximum utilization of books, stationery, games and other teaching aids to make curriculum delivery creative and impactful.

Counselling children for their socio – emotional needs.

Conducting parents teacher meetings

Attending Educator Training sessions conducted by the Foundation.

Ensuring that the database is timely updated.

Please Note: This is a field job and the Educator will be going to the Yellow Rooms (permanent rooms inside slums) to take classes

Working Hours- Monday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Salary – INR 8,000 – INR 10,000 per month
