About the organization: TNI Career Counselling is a global admissions advisory, career counseling, and test prep venture catering to undergraduate, Masters, PhD, MBA & EMBA programs. Additionally, we work with institutions to provide counselling resources, workshops, webinars, and other outreach activities.
Students and professionals reach us through our varied engagement efforts. We provide mentoring, test prep, and admissions guidance led by our founder Mr Dhaval Mehta (University of Michigan, Columbia
University, and Cornell University graduate). You will get to work with a truly global team and make your mark in the education industry.

About BD Associate Role: TCC is looking for a full-time candidate that has some experience working in the education area within business development. The opportunity is based at the headquarters in Mumbai so candidates from Mumbai or those willing to relocate will be considered who have a strong personality and demeanor to promote the brand among institutions, students, and working professionals. The individual will be responsible for assisting in creating a strategic plan with execution for growth in different geographies and markets through different channels – B2B and B2C included. Pitching to clients, making calls, travelling to deliver presentations, signing up, and retaining clients (particularly B2B), encouraging end-user clients to purchase added services (particularly B2C), and remaining abreast of changes in consumption are important outcomes. Working with other team members to enhance revenue and sales opportunities is primary. This position is advisable for fresh graduates to gain exposure in the education sector, building a reputation and network. The position demands an on-site presence and we are willing to compensate you with a salary range of Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 + incentives after 6 months of continuous performance. 1-year lock-in period minimum.

Office Timings: Monday – Friday 10:00am to 7:30pm; Saturdays 10:00am to 6:00pm
Weekly Off: Alternate Saturdays

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and develop a marketing and business development strategy in accordance with the overall company’s goals and vision
  • Responsible for securing INR 6,00,000 in revenue per month in basic individual target and INR

20,00,000 per month in team target above which incentives will apply. Individual revenue for the first 3 months will be INR 300,000 per month.

  • Create and nurture new alliances with universities, schools, media, and channel partners with direct access to prospective students, other colleges, promotional platforms, or events.
  • Develop and Execute Sales plans – meeting monthly and quarterly targets
  • Responsible for Supporting Sales, Marketing, Revenue Generation, and Brand Promotions, communicating with target audiences, and building and developing customer relationships
  • Responsible for building business relationships with institutions and individuals, current and potential clients, and bringing in revenue
  • Work on building a monthly pipeline of clientele
  • Contact school counsellors, placement cells, international networks, and coaching classes for business development activity
  • On signing clients responsible for invoicing, contract management, and service coordination
  • Coordinate with the Reporting Manager and other departments to manage outreach initiatives
  • Meet revenue and sales targets on an individual and team basis
  • Capable of conducting webinars and other engagements by coordinating with the marketing team
  • Maintaining and updating CRM, Sales, Documentations, etc
  • Assigned tasks from time to time

Eligibility:

  • Must be a graduate; having experience as an intern in the related field is preferred
  • Fluency in English is a must; strong public speaking skills are desirable
  • Knowledge of tools like CRM, ppt, word, docs, etc
  • Highly developed organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Aptitude in networking and building relationships with the ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
  • Must have their own systems and software (laptop)
  • Proven ability to oversee the preparation of a wide range of written documentation, communications, and agreements
  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude and ability to identify customer needs and is passionate about exceeding client expectations

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
